About the Item

French Art Déco cabinet by Pierre Paul Montagnac.(1883 to 1961) with bronze application. Thuja root wood, gilded feet and border. Interior oak with one shelf. Original key. The furniture is numbered and stamped P.P.Montagnac. The artist of the bronze application is documented and the bronze is pictured in an old french housing magazine. The cabinet has been professionally restored, the Thuja root veneer high gloss polished. The gilded feet and the border are in the original state of the thirties. The upper, later made inlaid glass plate was underlaid with gold leaf foil. Photo of the signature, more information on the Art Déco Designer Montagnac and the documentation of the bronze application on customer request.
