It is a brand new piece, recently hand crafted in England by a fourth generation furniture maker. The detail and quality that went into its construction ensure this heirloom piece will be a spectacular addition to your furniture collection for generations. Starting with the function of this gorgeous piece, it has two locking file drawers. They run on metal glides which ensure no matter how many files you stuff inside the drawers will open and close easily. Both are fitted with an adjustable hanging file system which accommodates legal and letter size files. This makes it an ideal piece for storing a large quantity of files. And while this two drawer wood file cabinet is great for storing all those files, it also looks great while doing it! You are definitely stepping up from the normal, drab office decor when you choose to purchase this filing cabinet! The wood used is a fine selection of bird’s eye maple which has been treated to a seven stage hand rubbed finish (French polish). This finish gives the piece a slight satin sheen and a depth like you see on antique furniture. Complementing the stunning wood are decorative moldings on the side as well as solid brass handles. Finally, the entire piece rests securely on a solid plinth base, which also adds elegance to this two drawer wood file cabinet. If you are looking to store a large amount of paperwork, or need something that looks good to compliment your elegant office space (or both!), this is the piece for you!
