Brass And Solid Wood Bugs Cabinet by PANOPTIKUM COLLECTIONS Dimensions: D 42 x W 60 x H 115 cm. Materials: Solid wood, veneer, and brass. The Cabinet “BUGS” from the collection is a bright example of emotional design. The cabinet is like a bug that flew past the house, decided to visit. And folding his wings-doors, he settled in the room for a long time on sturdy brass legs. But the most amazing thing about this bug cabinet is that instead of horns, this insect has a cactus, which, like an antenna ,silently watches what is happening around. With this bizarre combination of different life forms in one interior object, the author reminded us that everything living on our planet is interconnected. When creating a cabinet, pyrography was used as one of the oldest techniques of applying images to wood by burning. PANOPTIKUM COLLECTIONS is proof of the feasibility of the materialization of ideas, even the most unusual ones, which were embodied in astonishing yet functional interior objects. We created this platform for experimentation with design objects, ideas, materials, shapes, and textures. This is a real collection of unusual objects, each of which was once just a reckless idea. The most expensive ideas are those whose implementation requires not only material resources but also courage, intuition, and skill.
