About the Item

A wonderfully romantic George I figured walnut cabinet on chest with moulded cornice above a plain frieze. Behind the cupboard doors lie a fitted interior of seven oak-lined drawers and removable pigeon holes revealing further hidden compartments. The chest below consisting of two short over two long drawers on bracket feet. A decorative piece which we like to think has housed love letters galore over the centuries.
