Rare palissander drop front vanity cabinet by Jules Leleu (1883-1961). The drop front opens to reveal an illuminated mirror in three sections Bibliography: An identical cabinet designed for the Ile de France (1948) oceanliner is illustrated in House of Leleu by Françoise Siriex, Edition Monelle Hayot, p. 274 A similar but larger cabinet designed in 1952 for the Luxury Suite of the Pierre Loti oceanliner is also illustrated in Jules et André Leleu by Viviane Jutheau, p. 125.
