Known for his organic modern aesthetics and precision joinery, this unique piece beautifully illustrates his signature mastery of warm, richly grained hardwoods. Sculptural Uprights. The unit is defined by dramatic, sweeping curved wooden vertical supports that echo the silhouettes of mid-century Studio Craft furniture. Modular Configuration.It features integrated storage chest bases on both flanks, balanced by a suspended central writing desk surface.Integrated Display: Tiered, open face bookshelves step inward toward the top, creating a functional display area with an airy visual profile. Crafted from premium solid hardwood—likely Shedua (African Walnut) or rich Oak, which were McCabe's signature materials of choice during the 1960s and 1970s. Unmarked.
