About the Item

Handsome vintage Neoclassic Revival demilune cabinet or console and wall mirror both composed of blonde oak frames while the mirror has a low shelf with turned balusters, a decorative crown detail, and a rectangular mirror glass with a distressed finish. The console has a single fixed wood shelf behind double doors, antiqued brass key knob pulls, and a half-moon shaped black slate stone inset tabletop surface with a black painted wood edge. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, the table edge has been given a fresh coat of black paint and the mirror glass retains a distressed patinated finish. You know what they say…. Blondes have more fun!!! Well, in this case… This pair of blondes are definitely FULL of FUN… and FABULOUSNESS!!! That’s right!!! This dynamic duo consists of a cabinet or console bearing a demilune silhouette composed of a blonde oak frame with an all-over rustic or patinated finish featuring vertically raised panels across the front and center double doors hosting lovely antiqued brass key knob pulls. Behind the double doors you will find open storage with a single fixed wood shelf and the table is topped with a handsome half-moon shaped black slate stone inset tabletop surface with a beautiful black painted wood edge. The wonderful wall mirror is comprised of a rectangular blonde oak frame with a convenient low shelf featuring tiny turned balusters, a decorative top crown detail, and a rectangular mirror glass with a distressed vintage finish. WOW!!! This pair exudes a Neoclassic Revival style with an Art Deco or Tuscan flair and would be PHENOMENAL utilized as a statement piece in an entry way or foyer, against a large wall at the end of a hallway, in a dressing area, OR… you could easily turn it into a powder room vanity set by placing a beautiful bowl or vessel of choice on the tabletop and create a sink!!! Handsome antique Victorian dresser of solid walnut and burl walnut with white marble top and black painted turned wood and brass teardrop pulls. It is in wonderful antique condition with an amazing antique patina. The candle shelves were broken and there was a small piece of molding missing on the lower left side of the mirror frame, but the shelves have been repaired beautifully and the molding carved and replaced by our experienced staff. There are other smalls signs of its long life and use including some staining on the antique white marble. We love its warm antique age patina. The mirror glass is clear but old.
