About the Item

18th C North Italian Walnut, Serpentine Comodino. Very original condition. Cross banded with a very warm color and expressive figured veneers. Great small scale and overall curvy design. the sides decorated with vertical, rectangular banded panels. Retains the old brass hardware and original wormed backboards. All in place by the original forged nails. (small loss, photo). distressed by age but not abused or mishandled.

A small loss on the corner left top of the middle drawer. I will have this filled in when sold. Condition is '' as found" unrestored. Finish brought up by paste wax. Old marks / shrinkage overall.
