About the Item

Early 18th century decorated walnut chest of drawers from England. The top is made of two planks and has gorgeous banding around the edge of the chest which ends in beveled molded edges. This follows down to simple sides and two smaller drawers over three larger drawers, the case being supported on bun feet. The chest has been meticulously hand decorated with florals and patterns on the front of the chest and drawer fronts.
