A very good looking and well made piece, it comes complete with one of the original key which works and an auction receipt dated 1st Oct 1958, this would have naturally been well on its way to being an antique already at this point, the receipt has a note which reads "Also brought on the 200th Anniversary of Nelsons Birth" This is a true campaign piece, the top drawer is a secretaire desk and the bottom drawer open and free for any kind of storage, the brass capped legs unscrew meaning the entire base folds down as per the pictures We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there will be normal age and use related patina marks here and there as you would expect from a period antique campaign piece Dimensions Height:- 93cm Width:- 72cm Depth:- 37cm extending to 63.5cm Under slope height 75cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
