About the Item

Amazing and very trendy French black chest of drawers in the Louis XV style, a vintage reinterpretation of exceptional quality, crafted from ebonized wood with a black marble top. Its elegant, gently curved design is typical of the Louis XV style, with smooth lines and a slightly domed shape. The deep black finish of the ebonized wood lends a sophisticated touch, while the silver-toned metal handles, with ornamental details, evoke the classic aesthetic of the period. The handles are finely crafted, featuring medallions and garlands, very popular during that era. The legs are lightly galvanized. On its front, two drawers with ample storage space, each with a lock and two handles. A very special piece of furniture, combining classic aesthetics with modern design. More about the Louis XV Style The Louis XV style is an artistic style, especially prevalent in the decorative arts, that developed during the reign of Louis XV (1715-1774). Initially, the term "Louis XV style" referred to a characteristic type of chair, but it quickly spread to all the arts of the period. This style was created by cabinetmakers as a result of significant technical advancements in the manufacture of wooden furniture. It is closely associated with the Rococo architectural style. Like Rococo, it features profuse decoration and attention to detail, in contrast to the later, simpler "Louis XVI style."
