About the Item

A handsome 18th-century French desk crafted in warm, richly patinated walnut. The breakfront form features three frieze drawers above arched, fielded panel doors and a recessed central kneehole cupboard, all framed by carved escutcheons and iron hardware. It rests on robust turned baluster feet, the timber showing a mellow honeyed tone throughout.
