18th Century George III Mahogany Bureau Desk. Slant Front Writing Secretary. This 18th century English bureau desk has 3 rows of graduated hand dovetailed drawers and is raised on 4 bracket feet. The fall is supported by two pull-out slides to a fitted interior featuring 9 pigeonhole slots along with 5 small, graduated drawers with brass button pulls. Brass bat wing handles and escutcheons are an early replacement. All locks are original, period. Overall condition is fair. Wear due to age and use. Rich in color and patination. One leg is replaced. The bureau desk is fully functional. Photos include our comprehensive condition report. No key. Measurements: W 33” x H 38” x D 20” $2400
