Elegant Italian bar cart attributed to Aldo Tura, featuring two oval tiers covered in deep red goatskin parchment with lacquered finish and gilt brass details. Raised on original castors and fitted with decorative gallery rails, this refined serving trolley combines functionality with the luxurious materials for which Tura became renowned.
This elegant Italian bar cart is attributed to Aldo Tura and dates to the 1960s.
The trolley features two oval shelves covered in richly colored red goatskin parchment with a lacquered finish, beautifully complemented by gilt brass supports, gallery rails, and original castors. The deep red surface displays the natural variations and texture characteristic of goatskin, creating a vibrant appearance that changes subtly with the light.
Aldo Tura became internationally known for his use of colored parchment and goatskin, materials that gave his furniture a distinctive luxurious character. The combination of warm brass and richly toned red parchment is particularly associated with his most desirable designs from the mid-century period.
