BLANCHE KLOTZ (ATTRIBUTED TO) Ash chest of drawers, tapered legs mounted at an angle and covered in parchment, 3 drawers lined in parchment. H 157 x W 65 x D 42 cm Provenance Private collection. Considered to be by Blanche Klotz according to family tradition. History A homogeneous set, circa 1935-1937, comparable to various contemporary works by Blanche Klotz, including furniture made for the Minister of Finance, Vincent Auriol, now in the Mobilier National collection. A charming feature of this piece of furniture is that it has the possibility to be illuminated. Above the furniture is a lighting system that dates from the time of manufacture.
