About the Item

This antique secretary desk features hardwood construction, original maple finish, three dovetailed drawers with brass hardware, drop front writing surface with slatted storage compartments inside, atop sculpted wood legs. Dimensions: 28w 16d 37h Condition notes: Original finish is in OK condition. Scuffs, scratches, edge dings, kick marks, and some discoloration throughout. Cosmetically OK but structurally GREAT. Brass hardware has been polished in recent years and shows its shimmering gold finish. Brass lock plates on the drawers are decorative. Lock on cabinet drop front is real but no key is included. Drawers open and close easily. Drop front opens and closes properly. A skeleton key can be acquired for this lock but no key included. 8/10
