About the Item

A large dressing armoire produced in France in the 1950s to 1960s, granted an "Ameublement N.F." label found inside the far right door. This sleek midcentury modern cabinet would work well in a bedroom or serve as a bar, dazzling your guests with the honey-gold wood grain of maple under a glossy finish. The two pairs of doors retain their original mirror plates matched in the center of the case, with slightly bowed panels of wood on the outer left and right. This case piece is modern and stylish with ample storage space. The interior has three fixed shelves on each side, and the right cabinet is also fitted with drawers. There are two working locks each with their own key. Conical legs taper down to sharp points at the floor to give a sense of lightness compared to the generous scale. Note that there are a couple areas of loss on the lower trim, among other signs of daily use left upon the wood. We believe this item to be in good antique condition considering its age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
