About the Item

Whimsical rolling Hollywood Regency bar car in the form of an elephant designed by Marge Carson. The 20th century cart features a lacquered wood frame having an inset smoked glass top with a brass galleried border. The top is supported by straight round legs ending with elephant feet on casters. The elephant head is decorated with gilt tusks and a long trunk. The cart is solid and sturdy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The finish is intentionally distressed to mimic the elephant's skin. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
