About the Item

This innovative bar cart by Sergio Rodrigues was crafted in circa 1960 from Brazilian Rosewood with contrasting white formica interior, made in Brazil and recently imported to the states. Fully restored and ready to be used and cherished immediately. A highly sought-after collectors piece, this dry bar / trolley features a flip-top which becomes a usable platform and reveals an interior upper shelf. The front also flips open to reveal the lower platform and when both sections are opened the piece transforms to a complete dry-bar-in-a-box with 3 levels of platforms to mix cocktails from. This unique 1960s bar-system by Sergio Rodrigues has deep and vibrant Brazilian Jacaranda grain throughout making it extremely exotic to look at. Impress your friends with something more intoxicating than the drinks you store within it. Easily movable with the trolley's four casters. This Brazilian Modern bar cart on wheels by Sergio Rodrigues for OCA Brazil would work great in many room settings, the captivating Brasilia style would be perfect in a Mid-Century Modern, Space Age Mod, Scandanavian Modern or Danish Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Post-Modern, Contemporary or Zen / Minimalism room. Also consider mixing it up in a Traditional, Transitional, Hollywood Regency, Classical or Art Deco room with a splash of juxtaposition. Would also be an apt choice in a commercial project such as a hotel lobby lounge or members club, creative design studio or high-rise executive office.
