About the Item

We are delighted to offer this lovely circa 1860 Victorian fold over card table with Thomas Chippendale Cluster Column legs A good looking well made and decorative piece. It’s based on an original Thomas Chippendale console table that doubles up as a card or games table. The cluster column leg is synonymous with some of his finest and most ornate works Condition wise we have deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, it has the original finish which has various scratches and marks all over, there has been a new piece of timber spliced in around one of the hinges Dimensions Height:- 75cm, when unfolded the height is 73cm Width:- 85cm Depth:- 41.5cm extending to 83cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses RH20 1DF. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
