About the Item

Blue Enamel on copper and teak coffee table by P. Torneman(Algot Törneman). Teak underframe manufactured by Saffle Möbelfabrik in Sweden around 1960 Dimensions 120x65 cm, height 52 cm. Rare edition in good condition. Jarl Algot Gustav Törneman, nicknamed P., was a Swedish enamel artist and painter. P. Törneman was the son of the Swedish early modernist painter Axel Törneman. He performed embellishments in two of Systembolaget's stores in Stockholm. One mosaic of raw glass panels in the shop at Mäster Samuelsgatan. At Gustavsberg, Swedish porcelain company that originated in 1826, he primarily worked with enamel panels intended for table surfaces.
