About the Item

The Carry Underwood coffee table is a sleek, mid-century-inspired, coffee table with storage underneath. Real traditional joinery, with wedges on the rail tenons to ensure a lifetime without wobbles. The piece comes with white glove delivery to ensure a ding-free ownership experience. It is available for shipping only to destinations in the contiguous 48 states of the USA and Washington DC. Please inquire if you are interested in obtaining the coffee table made from a wood species different from what is currently available. Shipping takes up to four weeks. If not in stock, an extra eight weeks are needed to build the coffee table. 46" L x 20" W x 17" H All sales are final - no refunds The story behind the Carry Underwood coffee table: The den in James' house needed a coffee table. He wanted something that could get the language books off the floor, make them accessible, hold drinks and snacks, and look good all the while. A solid top slab with deeply beveled edges, a shelf slung under it, and round, shaped legs splayed from the corners would give the mid-century-inspired look he was after. The shelf could add stability by perching on the rails connecting the legs. To connect the shelf to the rail at each end, his friend Phil suggested cutting a round groove in the underside of the shelf. It's all come together pretty well. The name of the piece is a play on words, meant to be descriptive and fun.
