About the Item

Italian square coffee table in bamboo and brass, circa 1980s. The table features a striking waterfall-form construction clad in slender bamboo canes arranged in opposing diagonal patterns, creating a graphic chevron effect across the top and sides. A substantial brass frame outlines the open ends of the table and continues into squared legs, accented by exposed round brass fasteners. The warm, richly toned bamboo contrasts beautifully with the brass, giving the piece a sophisticated yet relaxed character characteristic of high-style Italian design of the period.
