About the Item

A rare Italian coffee table, made in Italy, circa 1960s-80s(?). It is made of Marmorino, traditional Venetian polished plaster that looks like marble and also has the weight of a marble piece. A unique sculptural coffee table with a very elegant base. Can’t find another one like it! Overall in very good original condition. “Instead of traditional cut stone, it is crafted from Marmorino, a historic Venetian plaster technique that combines crushed marble and lime putty. This method creates a durable surface with complex, sweeping brown and amber veining that closely mimics solid natural marble while maintaining a significant, weighted feel.” 20” H x 56” W x 32” D
