About the Item

An iconic Nomos table by Tecno, one of the most celebrated achievements of late 20th-century Italian design. With its striking chrome-plated steel base and generous proportions, this table is equally suited as a dining table, executive desk, or conference table. The ingenious structural frame is a masterpiece of engineering, featuring polished chrome tubular elements connected by precision die-cast aluminium joints. The architectural base provides exceptional stability while maintaining an elegant sense of openness and visual lightness, making the Nomos an enduring icon of modern design. The table is fitted with a glass top measuring 280 × 100 cm, offering ample space for dining, meetings, or collaborative work while allowing the sculptural base to remain fully visible. Please note: Due to the exceptional size and fragile nature of the glass top, the table will be shipped as the chrome frame only. The original glass top is intended as a reference for size and proportion, allowing the new owner to have a replacement top made locally to the same specifications. A timeless design that combines innovative engineering with minimalist aesthetics, the Nomos table remains one of Tecno's most recognizable and sought-after creations. Manufacturer: Tecno Model: Nomos Origin: Italy Materials: Chrome-plated steel, die-cast aluminium (frame); original glass top (not included in shipment) Dimensions of Original Top: 280 × 100 cm Condition: Very good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age and use.
