About the Item

A two-tier console table by John Vesey, circa 1958. Milled aluminum metal frame with brass accent as joins and ball feet. Retains natural patina on the surface acquired with age, not polished shining, which can be done if one chooses. John Vesey (1924-1992) is an American designer who was known for his work that reinterpreted classic design in modern style that blended seamlessly with contemporary living in the Mid-century while being compatible with antiques. His novel use of the materials such as aluminum accented with bronze and brass became his signature style.
