Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this sublime late 18th to early 19th century circa 1780-1820 Georgian fold over card table with Sheraton inlay and floral polychrome painted leather card playing surface Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price This table has seen some use as you would imagine given that it is well over 200 years old, the history can be seen in the table top which is why its being listed as distressed. There isn't one section that doesn't show originality and patina, nothing has been hidden, its all there and looks wonderful Once unfolded you reveal a stunning hand painted leather card playing surface, it looks to be a Victorian addition and makes for a much more interesting surface than the base timber The timber has been cleaned waxed and polished from top to bottom, this is not a gallery perfect example, if originally is your thing then this table is for you, museum quality examples are, then not!
