About the Item

Empire style desk with large bronze mounts in the form of festoons and wreaths. The desk has two doors and three drawers and stands on eight tapered square legs with brass sabots. The writing surface is covered in black leather and finished with an openwork gallery and central projection with further bronze ornament. The desk is veneered in mahogany and has been hand-polished. The interior is fitted with drawers.
