About the Item

Petite solid mahogany leather top writing desk in the manner of Jean-Michel Frank, constructed in the 1940’s. Pull out leather covered slides and hand dovetail construction give way to an appearance of high craftsmanship. The gilt embossed Greek key design on the border of the leather is a stunning detail, all maintained in great shape for its age. Kneehole measuring a height of 22.5".
