Mahogany wood “architect desk” table, France, 19th century. On four solomonic legs with a central knot stands the table, which has two drawers on the skirt, some boards on the sides and a sloping top. Inside, a large empty space is located under nine compartments. This specific typology of desks is characterized by its inclined upper table to facilitate drawing plans, hence the name by which they are known. The interior space presents this form to store different rules and utensils of different sizes typical of the profession. Requires restoration. Size: 100 x 60 x 105 cms. Weight is merely orientative.
