About the Item

Scrittoio Fratino restaurato e rivisitato. Le classiche gambe a lira sono di noce massello, mordenzate color ebano. La parte superiore è stata pulita e rifinita a cera bituminosa. It consists of a drop-down top that gives access to the 4 drawers. The end of the under-top has two small side hooks to keep it closed when the flap is open. Lo scrittoio si distingue per le perfette proporzioni e per le eleganti volute a ricciolo, particolarmente ricche sia sulle gambe che sulle traverse a creare un bellissimo movimento. Una volta chiuso lo scrittoio ha le fattezze di un tavolo. I 4 cassetti sul fondo sono stati mordenzati color ebano in ogni piano interno. Lo scrittoio è dei primi anni del 1900, originale in ogni suo pezzo. La ferramenta è tutta originale.
