Measuring 107 inches in length, the table is constructed in solid walnut and supported by a robust trestle base joined by a central stretcher. The rectangular top is framed with a molded edge and subtly delineated border, accented at the corners with carved foliate motifs. The surface displays rich walnut figuring, visible age cracks, tool marks, and honest wear consistent with over two centuries of use.
