Antique Early 19th Century Georgian Twin Pedestal Dining Table – Fine Quality This fine quality early 19th-century Georgian twin pedestal dining table is a rare decorative find. It would make a wonderful statement piece in the right setting, displaying attractive age, colour, and patina. Full of charm and character, its generous 49” (125 cm) width provides excellent dining proportions and presence. Ample space for serving dishes, candlarbra and table decorations. The top shows lots of historic age, marks, and use — now beautifully buried beneath generations of polish and wax, creating a rich and authentic patina that only time can produce. Features & Craftsmanship Early 19th-century Georgian period Twin pedestal design Large 125 cm (49”) width Structurally sound with no loose joints Strong, fully functional mechanism Condition Good antique condition overall, showing expected signs of age including historic marks, knocks, cracks, repairs, and alterations consistent with period furniture. There are historic extinct woodworm holes to the non-mahogany components of the tilt-top mechanism; these have been treated for good measure. The table remains strong and fully functional.
