The table balances form, function and craftsmanship in a design that appears modern and timeless at the same time. It comes in a rectangular and a round version, each interpreting the distinct and original design characterized by its unique base and asymmetrical tabletop. The form is built entirely from tangential arcs that flow seamlessly into each other, creating a sculptural, well-balanced whole with subtle asymmetry. The tabletop is made of wide solid wood sticks running lengthwise, which gives the table a calm and refined look. The curved edge of the tabletop adds a light and almost floating expression to the table. The dk3 collection combines exclusive classic and contemporary furniture from renowned Danish architects and designers such as Jeppe Utzon, Poul Cadovius, and others. The brand is represented by furniture retailers in more than 30 countries around the world. 80% of the dk3 collection is crafted in carpentries in Denmark, while the remainder is produced in workshops across Europe. dk3 creates and produces furniture pieces shaped and crafted by true enthusiasts, always with the ambition to unite the finest carpentry traditions with both modern and classic furniture design, blending timeless steel or brass with high-quality wood. The love for organic materials and the uncompromising focus on quality are evident throughout the entire process, from the initial design sketches to manufacturing in the carpentries, where most pieces are hand-finished and surface-treated
