Remarkable copper paneled top with extraordinary patina and 2000 hand-hammered nails, over oak and copper trestle base. 44.5" Wide 74" Long 30" High A bold and beautifully crafted statement piece, this custom trestle table by Hastening Designs features a richly patinated copper-clad top resting on a sculptural solid oak base. The tabletop showcases a dramatic palette of oxidized green, turquoise, and earthy verdigris tones, achieved through a hand-applied patina process that brings depth, movement, and a unique character to this piece. Rows of exposed copper rivets subtly frame the top, lending a refined industrial sensibility. The base is constructed from solid oak with clean, rectilinear lines and a center copper panel inset, echoing the table's surface in both tone and material continuity. The juxtaposition of cool, weathered metal with warm, natural wood creates a harmonious balance between rustic materiality and contemporary design.
