About the Item

Baroque drop-leaf table or wall table from Sweden. The table unusual with the leaf and curved legs as well as the profiled rim. Made circa 1760 from pine. Untouched original condition with original faux paint that imitates walnut. Very nice authentic patina. The table has handwrought hinges and rivets in iron. Useful as everything from a console table and desk to a dining table. There are some older enforcements in iron where the folding leg attaches to the rim. It's underneath the tabletop so it isn't directly visible and it doesn't affect the function. Healthy and solid frame. The tabletop is 132 x 65 cm with a possible addition of 65 cm from the leaf. The total maximum table space is 132 x 130 cm making the table almost square.
