About the Item

Handcrafted from the finest English quarter-sawn oak. These modernist low tables are acutely eye-catching but practical pieces of furniture. Bespoke handmade by master craftsmen in England and finished with highly durable eco friendly oils. Custom sizes are available to order. We design bold and distinctive pieces of furniture – our main objective is combining the design alongside the natural beauty and properties of the raw materials. These timbers and materials are very carefully chosen for each specific design - maintaining our focus on the benefits, visual impact and strengths of what we use. Our regular use of English quarter-sawn Oak is one case in point. It has been the beloved timber of fine furniture makers across the world for centuries. It is costly to produce but gives huge benefits and rewards such as its striking medullary rays and superb stability qualities. By utilising these wonderful and naturally occurring features with our contemporary designs we aim to continue creating some very distinct, tactile and idiosyncratic pieces. These are all completely handmade, in very small numbers, by our skilled craftspeople in England.
