This is an antique fold-over games table. An English, mahogany card or side table, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910. Charmingly petite, with exquisite craftsmanship Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order Select stocks present fine grain interest with rich caramel hues Striking inlaid top with flame centrepiece accentuated with boxwood and walnut Fold over top, rotating through 90-degrees to reveal the playing surface Original baize with deep emerald green hues and matching cushioning to the frame Useful storage beneath the folding top, ideal for playing cards or other small items Raised upon a quartet of slender tapering legs with pad feet and double H stretcher rails This is a superb antique fold-over games table, with delightful marquetry and wonderful, rich colour. Ideal in most rooms as a small side table. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
