The finely handcrafted, good quality, exceptionally rare six to eight leg ormolu mounted morphing antique table, circa 1930, begins as a console or hall table with half-moon demilune shape top, over a scalloped skirt, the hinged flip-top then lifts and can rest against a wall to give a large backsplash, perfect as an entry piece; continue opening the flip-top and the table becomes a round top, the frame extends placing two legs underneath and making it very sturdy and functional.
