About the Item

A beautifully hand-turned and handcrafted side table in the finest solid American black walnut. Bold, sculptural, and rich in character, this distinctive side table celebrates the beauty of traditional craftsmanship and honest construction. The substantial round base rises elegantly into a thick central column, creating a strong architectural form that is both visually striking and structurally purposeful. The column continues through the tabletop, revealing a visible through jointed connection that proudly expresses the method of construction and the integrity of the piece. Crafted from selected American black walnut, the table showcases the rich colour, natural warmth, and beautifully figured grain. Its proportions and clean lines allow it to function equally well as a side table, occasional table, or standalone statement piece within both contemporary and traditional interiors. Designed and entirely handmade in England by our master craftsman, each table is individually hand-turned and finished with meticulous attention to detail. A highly durable oil finish enhances the depth and beauty of the walnut while providing lasting protection for everyday use. A striking and enduring piece of fine furniture, built using traditional techniques and crafted to be treasured for generations. We design and produce bold and distinctive pieces of furniture – our objective is combining the design with the natural beauty and properties of the raw materials. These timbers and materials are very carefully chosen for each specific design - maintaining our focus on the benefits, visual impact and strengths of what we use. By utilising the wonderful and naturally occurring features of these timbers with our contemporary designs we continue creating some distinct, tactile and idiosyncratic pieces. These are all completely handmade, in very small numbers, by our skilled craftspeople in England.
