Les Savoyards Table by Mélissa Mariller Dimensions: D 35 x W 45 x H 40 cm. Materials: Aluminum. Three different tabletop variations are available. Please contact us. Inspired by regional vernacular furniture, Les Savoyards is a research project based on simple construction principles and «historical» motifs. Selected motifs are hybridized and used to solder and join the pieces together. The hybridization of period and contemporary furniture allows us to imagine the reintroduction of these neglected pieces into contemporary interiors. Mélissa Mariller, a resident of Marseille, resides at the captivating intersection of design and art, giving rise to a captivating world of functional sculptures and artistic marvels. Her work transcends boundaries, blurring the lines between form and function, crafting pieces that effortlessly marry beauty and purpose. In 2020, Mélissa embarked on a transformative journey, co-founding the espace Montebello in Lyon. This visionary space serves as a harmonious fusion of artists' and designers' studios—a dynamic hub where creative minds converge, exchanging ideas, and sparking new artistic dialogues. With an unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of her craft, Mélissa Mariller emerges as a luminary in the realm of contemporary design and art.
