Low Neroterra 2 Side Table by ZPS Studio Dimensions: D 54 x H 42 cm Materials: Terraccotta, Glass. Handcrafted in a Siena workshop, these terracotta structures feature a unique, freehand “colombino” technique, ensuring individuality. Surface treatment involves firing, followed by the application of natural pigments for an asphalt or lava effect. The coloring, using white engobe and chromium-silica mineral dye, results in an imprecise, rough texture. Artisan glass tops, crafted in Siena, boast semi-transparent panels treated with chemical and dye mixtures, applied by hand for distinct patterns. ABOUT ZPSTUDIO is an architecture and design firm that emphasizes multidisciplinarity and innovation in every project. Established in Florence in 2003 by Eva Parigi and Matteo Zetti, the practice is focused on pursuing the perfect balance between tradition and avant-garde.
