About the Item

This playful and eclectic side table was designed in 1984 by Michele De Lucchi. The unique silhouette of this piece is crafted of engineered wood and plastic. It comprises a base that combines a green rectangle and a large circle printed to resemble the distinctive pattern of the cow's coat with blue accents on the rim. The yellow top intersects the base creating a versatile and striking display surface for a variety of objects. Continental is a coffee table that seems to challenge the laws of gravity through the intersection of three planes in lively colors. Continental, with its bold, irreverent spirit, defies modernity and its dictates of clean form, good design and pure, precise functionalism, flaunting an ability to rewrite the rules to create unique objects. Side table in wood covered with decorative laminate.
