Vintage Coastal Bamboo & Rattan Round Side Table, Hollywood Regency Style, circa 1970s, Sculpted Bamboo Table with Hand-Decorated Lacquer Top A charming vintage bamboo and rattan round side table executed in a refined coastal tropical style, dating to the 1970s. The table features a beautifully constructed radial rattan inset top, divided into pie-shaped sections that create a subtle sunburst effect. The top is framed by a warm honey-colored bamboo edge with decorative wrapped bindings at the joints. Supporting the top is an architectural cluster bamboo base composed of vertical bamboo poles joined by wrapped rattan bindings, a hallmark of quality bamboo furniture from the period. The base is stabilized by shaped bamboo stretchers and terminates in gracefully curved bamboo feet, giving the piece both visual lightness and structural strength. With its elegant proportions and organic materials, the table embodies the relaxed sophistication associated with Hollywood Regency and coastal interiors of the 1960s–1970s. It works beautifully as a side table, occasional table, or accent piece in tropical, Palm Beach, or island-inspired interiors.
