About the Item

This striking pair of sculptural side tables / end tables draws clear inspiration from Adrian Pearsall’s iconic biomorphic designs for Craft Associates in the 1960s. Each table features a dramatic ebony base with fluid, interlocking curved forms that create a dynamic, almost sculptural presence. The thick, rectangular glass top appears to float above the base, highlighting the graceful lines and glossy, high-contrast ebony finish. Adrian Pearsall was celebrated for his innovative, free-form furniture that blended organic shapes with exceptional craftsmanship. His biomorphic series for Craft Associates became highly influential, and these tables beautifully interpret that signature aesthetic with their flowing, sculptural silhouettes. These versatile tables work beautifully as end tables beside a sofa, bedside tables, or as sculptural accent pieces in a living room or lounge. Their compact scale and dramatic form make them ideal for both mid-century modern and contemporary interiors. A bold and collectible pair of 1960s biomorphic tables inspired by Adrian Pearsall’s work for Craft Associates — where sculptural ebony meets elegant glass. ---Dimensions--- Width: 29.25 in / 74.3 cm Depth: 23 in / 58.42 cm Height: 15 in / 38.1 cm This architecturally captivating set of matching end tables is in 100% original, vintage condition and has aged to perfection. The solid wood frame shows no discernable wear save for few scuffs in the semi-gloss paint. The asymmetrical glass tops, which measure 23" at their widest and 20" at their most narrow point, shows one chip (shown in the detail photos provided) as well as multiple surface scratches. New glass can be cut at cost, if this service interests you please message us prior to checkout to discuss options and pricing. This set of alluring end tables is functional, structurally sound and ready for a lifetime more of use .
