Burnt Forest cocktail table is conceived, designed and created by award-winning artist and architectural designer Michael Olshefski of Primal Modern. Inspired by nature's rebirth after fire, the gorgeous highly figured Black Walnut is conceived as a mountain forest at the waters edge. The legs - inspired by Japanese origami - are cut and folded from a single piece of plate aluminum and trimmed in leather. The elevated table top design with .5" ultra-clear low iron museum glass is inspired by the concept of a museum case which both displays and protects the precious object below. Loose stones meet up to the infinity edge of the piece to complete the dramatic composition. This piece is custom-made to order and can be customized in dimension, material and finish. Every piece is individually handcrafted by artist Michael Olshefski and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
