About the Item

17th/ 18th century Oak Pay table This pay table is a piece of furniture where a table top is placed on a chair in such a way that when the table is not in use, the table top pivots to a vertical position and becomes the back of the chair. Under the seat a beautiful hand carved edge, in which a drawer is hidden. The 4 legs of the chair with stretchers have 2 different shapes. The two bottle legs indicate that the drawer is on that side. When the table is unfolded as a chair, you see a beautiful hand carved pattern of 2 columns with tall Acanthus leaves and flower. When the backrest is back as a table, there is room on each side for a chair to slide so that they could proceed to pay. The measurement is 133 cm high / 76.5 cm The depth is 98 cm and the width is 67 cm The seat height is 45 cm. The weight is 24 kilograms. 1 Inch = 2.54 cm.
