Extremely rare Louis XV dessert tray, known as a "serviteur" in French, mounted in ornate gilt bronze and detailed with intricate bird and flora themed marquetry. Dolphin-themed gilt bronze mounts and wild dog decorations. Likely to have been original to chateau from which it was acquired. Provenance: private chateau near Ax-les-Thermes, France.
