Very elegant, handcrafted table with lid and beveled mirror. If you have an eye for elegant designs then this French, antique nutwood table is a visual treat every time you will look at it. Handcrafted in the late 1800s this antique table displays the quality of both the workmanship and the quality of the materials that were used in those days. It is no coincidence that a relatively fragile table, of circa 140 years old, is still standing as strong and firm as the day it was handcrafted. They simply don't make unique pieces of this exceptional quality anymore. The lid opens and closes perfectly as well and the lock probably works too, but we have no key to it. Have you also noticed the striking and detailed bouquet of flowers in the lid? Yet another technique that is far too complicated and time consuming to still incorporate in furniture-making in this day and age. There is some wear in the beveled mirror, but you can still check to see how your jewelry looks on you. With some of your favourite pieces displayed in the perfectly padded compartments, this striking antique with its bronze decorations will look even more grand and stylish.
