This original unusual fabulous Italian Mid-Century Modern signed Mingazzi tall swivel mirror or valet stand can incorporate so many different uses. Is it a valet? Is it a stand? Is it a piece of art? Only one who looks in will see this artfully restored Mid-Century Modern Venetian mirrored stand fashioned in metal and wood, acts as gentleman’s valet and shaving stand or woman's jewelry and makeup stand of the chicest order. Fantastic gold leafed metal swirl traveling from top to bottom of pole in the true Venetian style. Gold leafed mirror frame, mirror back, tension knobs, towel bars, and around base and feet. The single pullout drawer has brass pull and original brass fencing around top to hold shaving or makeup accoutrements. Identified with original sticker on bottom signed "Mingazzi-made in Italy". A rare and regal find. This has been restored to the best it can be from top to bottom around 2008. It is fabulous! This is from the 1950s. This is now a work of art, a sculpture and a conversational large statement piece. We have never seen another one. This is priced very fairly from the orginal listed price. Could just be a sculptural entity now in a room. We are thinking this may have been in a very high end shop.

Condition:
Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. In very good restored condition. It was re gold leafed , re white lacquered and the brass was polished to the best it can be. There are a few chips now and a wobble in the drawer area; as is now.
